Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office 2-3 days per week for this position.

We’re looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Insurance Money and Services team.

As a Commercial Executive in our Gift Card team, you’ll be working on our own brand Tesco Gift Card programme. Helping to support the growth of the gift card programme in the UK and Republic of Ireland via B2B channels. You’ll be a key part of ensuring the Tesco Gift Card business is running smoothly from an operational perspective.

What you’ll be doing
• Responsibility for the day to day operations of our B2B Gift Card programme including stock management, stock ordering, reconciliations and reporting.
• Supporting technical and product development for Tesco Gift Cards, being fully up to speed with industry wide advancements and ensuring Tesco maintains a competitive edge in the market through product innovations and delighting our customers.
• Support the Commercial Manager and wider team to collaboratively work with partners, colleagues, and agencies to unlock new sales and discount opportunities that align with the wider business strategies.
• Support the Commercial Manager with day to day partner relationships with our B2B contacts and resellers.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and being the go-to person for all day to day queries from Tesco Stores and Tesco IMS colleagues and external Tesco B2B customers.

We need you to have
• Good communication and relationship management skills to interact with key stakeholders (both internal and with our 3rd parties).
• A customer orientated mindset to ensure we consistently hold them at the heart of what we do.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Commercial Acumen – applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to help develop solutions.
• Experience in a commercial operations role previously.
• Knowledge and experience within the Gift Card industry.
