Location – Glasgow or Edinburgh, blended working, Permanent.
Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to an office location at least 2 days per week for this position, including at least one day in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Travel Insurance team as a Commercial Executive. You’ll help achieve our growth ambitions by supporting the delivery of trade-driving initiatives and providing effective analysis of our performance within the market.

You’ll be part of our dedicated product team, working closely with Marketing, Pricing, Finance and 3rd party providers to help optimise commercial growth whilst delivering the best value for our customers.

You’ll gain exposure across propositions, performance, commercial planning and third-party management, all while helping us drive awareness and deliver brilliant outcomes for our customers.

What you’ll be doing
• Supporting the Commercial Manager (Trading) with the planning, execution, and delivery of trading activities.
• Tracking and analysing data across a wide range of trade and product KPIs to identify trends and opportunities, preparation of relevant reports, and reporting to more senior colleagues.
• Supporting and contributing towards product management processes, including identifying process improvements, developing new initiatives, and writing the relevant business cases.
• Working collaboratively with the Marketing department to review and provide feedback on marketing content for the Tesco Travel Insurance product.
• Market research; including tracking of competitor pricing trends, marketing, and sales activities.
• Act as a team member supporting change initiatives by providing basic analysis, project plan updates, and other support to deliver prescribed outcomes.

We need you to have
• Ability to prioritise and manage your workload and operate with limited supervision.
• A curious mind and willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to critically analyse data and identify trends and patterns.
• Great MS Office skills and in particular the ability to create relevant and effective reports using various data sources, analysing data trends to help guide decision making.
And if you have any of these, even better
• Previous travel insurance or other work experience relevant to this role
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
