Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to attend your contractual office 2 days per week for this position.

We are looking for an Operational and Strategic Advisory Manager to join our Conduct & Controls team. You will provide advice and guidance to our Future Partnerships & Money Services business on operational and strategic risk matters and help maintain the integrity of, and compliance with the risk management framework.

You will play a key role in ensuring Future Partnerships & Money Services has a robust risk and control environment and help embed risk knowledge and understanding across the business though regular communication and on-going knowledge sharing.

You will be working alongside assurance and oversight colleagues as part of the broader Conduct & Controls team and have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders from across the business.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop within the role, as well as broader opportunities within the Conduct & Controls team and wider business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing technical expertise to support the business with the management of risks, controls, issues, and events.
  • Facilitating Risk & Control Self-Assessment across Future Partnerships & Money Services.
  • Analysing risk data to provide insight and identify opportunities to simplify and add value.
  • Co-ordinating the production of the pack for the Risk Forum.
  • Planning and prioritising work to meet commitments and foreseeing and resolving potential bottlenecks and delays.
  • Engaging in local risk fora, providing credible risk opinion and expert knowledge of the Risk Management Framework.

We need you to have

  • Considerable experience working with Risk Management Frameworks and undertaking risk and control self-assessment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and gaining commitment through integrity, cooperation, and flexibility.
  • Ability to translate risk opinion into measurable and timely actions.
  • Initiative-taking mindset with excellent planning and time management skills.
