Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you need to travel to our Edinburgh office 2 days per week for this role.

We’re looking for a PMO Manager to join our Technology team within Insurance Money and Services. (This role will be known as a PMO Manager within Tesco Insurance and Money Services).

What you’ll bring

As a PMO Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Project Management Office (PMO) framework, governance, and standards
  • Ensuring that projects and change initiatives are set up and delivered effectively, aligned with business strategy
  • Providing visibility of the portfolio through producing accurate reporting on status, risk, issues and benefits realisation
  • Conducting assurance reviews to ensure project quality and adherence to best practices in change management
  • Driving PMO maturity through process optimisation and adoption of best practices
  • Collaborating with a range of stakeholders across IMS to share key information and to overcome challenges as they arise

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, JIRA).
  • Ability to analyse data and produce insightful reports for decision-making.
  • Proactive, driven individual with experience in collaborating with a range of stakeholders ie change colleagues, business colleagues, Finance colleagues
