Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office 2 days per week for this position.

We’re looking for a Product Manager (Reporting and Analytics) to join our Insurance Money and Services team.

Tesco IMS is modernising how our organisation creates, consumes and governs data. As part of our strategic transformation—underpinned by the new Microsoft Fabric platform—we are seeking a high calibre Product Manager to lead the development, optimisation and operational excellence of our reporting and analytics capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, data visualisation, governance and stakeholder engagement. You’ll manage a team responsible for delivering trusted, timely and actionable insights that support decision making across our enterprise technology services.

You’ll work in an innovative, engineering led environment where modern data practices, automation and continuous improvement are core to how we operate.

What you’ll be doing
• Lead a multidisciplinary teams of architects, analysts and engineers to deliver high quality insight products that help shape how IMS delivers products and services.
• Own the strategy, roadmap and standards for reporting and analytics across Tesco IMS.
• Drive the modernisation and optimisation of reporting using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and unified semantic models.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of dashboards, KPIs and self service analytics that meet business requirements.
• Champion data quality, governance, security and compliance across all reporting assets.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, translating analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights.

We need you to have
• Strong leadership and hands on engineering and delivery experience across data products, reporting and analytics, using modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure or Databricks.
• Deep technical understanding of data architecture, modelling, semantic layers and BI/analytics development, including practical experience with Power BI and data pipeline/feature delivery.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable data products, dashboards, KPIs and analytical solutions, ensuring high quality, governed and scalable outputs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and agile delivery skills, driving cross functional collaboration, prioritisation and continuous improvement to maximise business value.

And if you have any of these, even better
• Experience with AI assisted analytics, MLOps, advanced modelling techniques or augmented BI capabilities.
• Familiarity with DAX, SQL or analytical modelling concepts, with the ability to guide best practice even if not fully hands on.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, enablement programmes or operating model design for analytics maturity.
• Exposure to large scale enterprise environments, preferably retail, supply chain or technology operations.
