Shift: Monday to Friday 09:00 -17:00. 36 hours per week/ flexible/ part time considered.

Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Technical Supplier Oversight Consultant – Motor to provide technical expertise in vehicle damage repairs, total loss, and salvage to the supplier management function. You’ll be overseeing appropriate audit and oversight in place to protect the business and customers. Developing relationships with suppliers to deliver successful improvements. Ensuring costs are controlled, industry standards applied and keeping the business aligned with the most up to date methods, health and safety and innovation in the market.

The role:

As Technical Supplier Oversight Consultant – Motor - you’ll be overseeing appropriate audit and oversight in place to protect the business and customers. Developing relationships with suppliers to deliver successful improvements. Ensuring costs are controlled, industry standards applied and keeping the business aligned with the most up to date methods, health and safety and innovation in the market.

What you’ll be doing:

• Defining oversight and audit regime for home property claims supply chain
• Reporting audit findings and monitoring close-out to ensure that agreed corrective actions are implemented.
• Contract Requirements - identifying contract requirements and writing specifications for a medium portfolio or area of the business for existing contracts and/or new contracts.
• Organisational Risk Management - ensuring our organisation is not exposed to undue risks by using risk management systems to achieve specific goals within a designated area of the business.
• Operational Compliance - monitoring and reviewing performance and behaviours within your area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with our policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
• Communicating the local action plan & explaining how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and our broader objectives. Motivating people to achieve local business goals.
• Managing important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
• Developing stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions.
• Developing policies and processes, creating best practices, setting up case studies, and delivering internal knowledge-sharing sessions to capture, and sharing knowledge on project/program outcomes and innovative practices.

We need you to have:

• Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems, robust experience of developing workplace trends and transformation.
• Accountability: Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
• Good stakeholder management skills, collaborating with colleagues to create the right outcomes for all parties.
• Good financial acumen: Interprets and applies key financial indicators to make better business decisions. For example, fosters accountability for making good financial decisions.
• Experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Adaptable approach to match the shifting demands of different situations.
• Applied knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance our goals.
• Qualifications: IMI or IAEA qualified are advantageous.
